Founding Members (Core Faculty)

Individuals involved in the establishment of GA²CI.
Automatically granted lifetime membership.

Full Members

Fully accredited physicians with certification in allergy and immunology.
Entitled to vote and hold office.

Associate Members

Physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals actively involved in the field of Allergy and Clinical Immunology within the Gulf region, but who do not hold formal certification in Allergy and Immunology. This category includes, but is not limited to, pulmonologists, dermatologists, infectious disease specialists, ENT physicians, rheumatologists, and other related specialists with a professional interest in allergic and immunologic disorders.
Trainees, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals (e.g., nurses, pharmacists) involved in Allergy and Immunology-related work.
May participate in GA²CI activities but do not have voting rights.

International Affiliate Members

Non-GCC professionals with a significant interest in regional collaboration and Allergy and Immunology.
May participate in educational activities but do not have voting rights.

Honorary Members

Individuals recognized for outstanding contributions to the field or to GA²CI.
Nominated and approved by the Core Faculty. No voting rights.

Application Process

All membership applications must be submitted through the official GA²CI platform or in writing, accompanied by a current curriculum vitae (CV).
Applications shall be reviewed and approved by the Membership Committee (Currently, President, Vice President and Chair of the Scientific Committee).
Upon approval, members must comply with all rules and obligations stated in the bylaws and policies.
The amount and structure of membership fees shall be established at a future date.

Section 3: Rights and Responsibilities of Members Rights:

Attend GA²CI meetings and scientific activities.
Access educational resources.
Participate in task forces or interest groups (where applicable).
Vote and be elected to leadership positions based on membership based on membership category.

Responsibilities:

Uphold the mission and values of GA²CI.
Abide by these bylaws and decisions made be the executive team.
Maintain ethical and professional conduct.
Pay membership dues (if applicable).
Members presenting personal views or opinions must clearly state that such views do not represent the official position of GA²CI

Termination of Membership

Membership may be terminated:

Upon voluntary resignation.
For non-payment of dues (if applicable) after sufficient notice.
Unauthorized use or misrepresentation of GA²CI affiliation may result in membership suspension or termination.
For serious misconduct or breach of ethical standards, as determined by the Core Faculty.
Upon death.
